Schwabinger Gate combines a wide range of leisure activities with high-quality living. And that in the middle of Munich. From fancy restaurants to the Andaz Lifestyle Hotel by Hyatt to the weekend market, the centre that has been created here leaves nothing to be desired. With a modern exterior design as well as the revision of the adjacent green spaces, we at DÖRRIES Landschaftsbau have realised the clear structure of the ‘Schwabinger Tor’. The widespread use of natural stone paving in a wide variety of formats and designs ensures clear lines and patterns on the paths and squares. A special feature is the centre’s own tram station, which was built at the request of the Principal with our involvement. At times, work around the track took place while trams were running and at night. Natural stone paving inlays were used here, giving the square a haptic and structure in visual terms.

Besonderheit

The Principal wanted to build a dedicated tram station, which also involved work in the track area that was carried out while rail traffic was running. Night work in the track area and coloured asphalt within the track.
