With the inauguration of its new and larger corporate headquarters, Leica Camera AG is returning to its roots. The Hessian town of Wetzlar is the home of Leica Camera and the site of the original Ernst Leitz Company, forerunner of today’s Leica Camera AG. Only together and with good cooperation was it possible to realise this wonderful project. In future, the central square will connect the headquarters of Leica Camera AG with the company buildings of Weller Feinwerktechnik GmbH and ViaOptic GmbH that are already present in Leitz Park. Simultaneously with the inauguration of the new headquarters building, the company celebrated ‘100 years of Leica photography’.
