LEIBZIGER VOLKSZEITUNG

LVZ Leipzig

The forecourt of the LVZ publisher building is at the Peterssteinweg in Leipzig. A lot of green on one side and an ambulatory mark its appearance. Benches – formed in the letters L,V, and Z – invite people to stay under big plane trees.

The ground symbolizes the page of a newspaper with more than 12.000 syllables, illustrated by trapeze-shaped natural stone slabs. The trapezes have different shapes giving the impressions as if they were words. The space between the rows is filled with small stones made of the same material.
