KAPELLE-UFER BERLIN

Since the fall of the wall a lot of planning, construction and realization happens in the government district. We are also working there for several years. With the new Spree-boardwalk "Kapelle-Ufer" another part of German history is arranged. The whole boardwalk consists of 4.000 m² of granite. Considerable parts of the paving are made of historical building materials from Berlins streets. A complex brick line has been chosen to follow the 500m Spree bend. Our assignment by the Senate of Berlin was the riverside illumination, draining, riverside handrail, and a complex geological support. Sitting on one of the 30 historical benches one can watch cruise and cargo vessels, the German Chancellery, the Moltke Bridge and Berlin Central Station.
